'Adoniyah (ad-o-nee-yaw')
lord (i.e. worshipper) of Jah; Adonijah, the name of three Israelites -- Adonijah.
reigneth
malak (maw-lak')
to reign; inceptively, to ascend the throne; causatively, to induct into royalty; hence (by implication) to take counsel
and now my lord
'adown (aw-done')
from an unused root (meaning to rule); sovereign, i.e. controller (human or divine) -- lord, master, owner. Compare also names beginning with Adoni-.
the king
melek (meh'-lek)
a king -- king, royal.
thou knowest
yada` (yaw-dah')
to know (properly, to ascertain by seeing); used in a great variety of senses, figuratively, literally, euphemistically and inferentially
