cave-dweller or troglodyte; a Chorite or aboriginal Idumaean -- Horims, Horites.

yashab (yaw-shab')
to sit down (specifically as judge. in ambush, in quiet); by implication, to dwell, to remain; causatively, to settle, to marry
in Seir
Se`iyr (say-eer')
rough; Seir, a mountain of Idumaea and its aboriginal occupants, also one in Palestine -- Seir.
beforetime
paniym (paw-neem')
the face (as the part that turns); used in a great variety of applications (literally and figuratively); also (with prepositional prefix) as a preposition (before, etc.)
but the children

a son (as a builder of the family name), in the widest sense (of literal and figurative relationship, including grandson, subject, nation, quality or condition, etc.

rough (i.e. sensibly felt); Esav, a son of Isaac, including his posterity -- Esau.
succeeded
yarash (yaw-rash')
to occupy (by driving out previous tenants, and possessing in their place); by implication, to seize, to rob, to inherit; also to expel, to impoverish, to ruin
them when they had destroyed
shamad (shaw-mad')
to desolate -- destory(-uction), bring to nought, overthrow, perish, pluck down, utterly.
