To every thing there is a season and a time to every purpose under the heaven To every thing there is a season zman (zem-awn') an appointed occasion -- season, time. and a time `eth (ayth) time, especially (adverb with preposition) now, when, etc. to every purpose chephets (khay'-fets) pleasure; hence (abstractly) desire; concretely, a valuable thing; hence (by extension) a matter (as something in mind) under the heaven shamayim (shaw-mah'-yim) air, astrologer, heaven(-s).
