
And on all hills that shall be digged with the mattock there shall not come thither the fear of briers and thorns but it shall be for the sending forth of oxen and for the treading of lesser cattle And on all hills har (har) a mountain or range of hills (sometimes used figuratively) -- hill (country), mount(-ain), promotion. that shall be digged `adar (aw-dar') to arrange, as a battle, a vineyard (to hoe); hence, to muster and so to miss (or find wanting) -- dig, fail, keep (rank), lack. with the mattock ma`der (mah-dare') a (weeding) hoe -- mattock. there shall not come thither bow' (bo) to go or come (in a wide variety of applications) the fear yir'ah (yir-aw') fear (also used as infinitive); morally, reverence -- dreadful, exceedingly, fear(-fulness). of briers shamiyr (shaw-meer') a thorn; also (from its keenness for scratching) a gem, probably the diamond -- adamant (stone), brier, diamond. and thorns shayith (shah'-yith) scrub or trash, i.e. wild growth of weeds or briers (as if put on the field) -- thorns. but it shall be for the sending forth mishlowach (mish-lo'-akh) to lay, to put, sending (forth), to set. of oxen showr (shore) a bullock (as a traveller) -- bull(-ock), cow, ox and for the treading mirmac (meer-mawce') abasement (the act or the thing) -- tread (down)-ing, (to be) trodden (down) under foot. of lesser cattle seh (seh) a member of a flock, i.e. a sheep or goat -- (lesser, small) cattle, ewe, goat, lamb, sheep.
