All her people sigh they seek bread they have given their pleasant things __ for meat to relieve the soul see O LORD and consider for I am become vile All her people `am (am) a people (as a congregated unit); specifically, a tribe (as those of Israel); hence (collectively) troops or attendants; figuratively, a flock -- folk, men, nation, people. sigh 'anach (aw-nakh') to sigh -- groan, mourn, sigh. they seek baqash (baw-kash') to search out (by any method, specifically in worship or prayer); by implication, to strive after bread lechem (lekh'-em) food (for man or beast), especially bread, or grain (for making it) -- (shew-)bread, eat, food, fruit, loaf, meat, victuals. they have given nathan (naw-than') to give, used with greatest latitude of application (put, make, etc.) their pleasant things machmad (makh-mawd') delightful; hence, a delight, i.e. object of affection or desire -- beloved, desire, goodly, lovely, pleasant (thing). machmud (makh-mood') desired; hence, a valuable -- pleasant thing. for meat 'okel (o'-kel) food -- eating, food, meal(-time), meat, prey, victuals. to relieve shuwb (shoob) to turn back (hence, away) transitively or intransitively, literally or figuratively the soul nephesh (neh'-fesh) a breathing creature, i.e. animal of (abstractly) vitality; used very widely in a literal, accommodated or figurative sense (bodily or mental) see ra'ah (raw-aw') to see, literally or figuratively (in numerous applications, direct and implied, transitive, intransitive and causative)surely, think, view, visions.
