Let thine ear now be attentive and thine eyes open that thou mayest hear the prayer of thy servant which I pray before thee now day and night for the children of Israel thy servants and confess the sins of the children of Israel which we have sinned against thee both I and my father's house have sinned
Let thine ear
'ozen  (o'-zen)
broadness. i.e. (concrete) the ear (from its form in man) -- + advertise, audience, + displease, ear, hearing, + show.
now be attentive
qashshab  (kash-shawb')
hearkening -- attent(-ive).
and thine eyes
`ayin  (ah'-yin)
an eye; by analogy, a fountain (as the eye of the landscape)
open
pathach  (paw-thakh')
to open wide; specifically, to loosen, begin, plough, carve
that thou mayest hear
shama`  (shaw-mah')
to hear intelligently (often with implication of attention, obedience, etc.; causatively, to tell, etc.)
the prayer

intercession, supplication; by implication, a hymn -- prayer.
