He that is slow to wrath is of great understanding but he that is hasty of spirit exalteth folly He that is slow 'arek (aw-rake') long -- long(-suffering, -winged), patient, slow (to anger). to wrath 'aph (af) the nose or nostril; hence, the face, and occasionally a person; also (from the rapid breathing in passion) ire is of great rab (rab) abundant (in quantity, size, age, number, rank, quality) understanding tabuwn (taw-boon') intelligence; by implication, an argument; by extension, caprice -- discretion, reason, skilfulness, understanding, wisdom. but he that is hasty qatser (kaw-tsare') short (whether in size, number, life, strength or temper) -- few, hasty, small, soon. of spirit ruwach (roo'-akh) wind; by resemblance breath, i.e. a sensible (or even violent) exhalation; figuratively, life, anger, unsubstantiality; by extension, a region of the sky; by resemblance spirit, but only of a rational being exalteth ruwm (room) to be high actively, to rise or raise (in various applications, literally or figuratively) folly 'ivveleth (iv-veh'-leth) silliness -- folly, foolishly(-ness).
