
Thou hidest thy face they are troubled thou takest away their breath they die and return to their dust Thou hidest cathar (saw-thar') to hide (by covering), literally or figuratively -- be absent, keep close, conceal, hide (self), (keep) secret, surely. thy face paniym (paw-neem') the face (as the part that turns); used in a great variety of applications (literally and figuratively); also (with prepositional prefix) as a preposition (before, etc.) they are troubled bahal (baw-hal') to tremble inwardly (or palpitate), i.e. (figuratively) be (causative, make) (suddenly) alarmed or agitated; by implication to hasten anxiously thou takest away 'acaph (aw-saf') to gather for any purpose; hence, to receive, take away, i.e. remove their breath ruwach (roo'-akh) wind; by resemblance breath, i.e. a sensible (or even violent) exhalation; figuratively, life, anger, unsubstantiality; by extension, a region of the sky; by resemblance spirit, but only of a rational being they die gava` (gaw-vah') to breathe out, i.e. (by implication) expire -- die, be dead, give up the ghost, perish. and return shuwb (shoob) to turn back (hence, away) transitively or intransitively, literally or figuratively to their dust `aphar (aw-fawr') dust (as powdered or gray); hence, clay, earth, mud -- ashes, dust, earth, ground, morter, powder, rubbish.
