But if she bear
yalad (yaw-lad')
to bear young; causatively, to beget; medically, to act as midwife; specifically, to show lineage
a maid child
nqebah (nek-ay-baw')
female (from the sexual form) -- female.
then she shall be unclean
tame' (taw-may')
to be foul, especially in a ceremial or moral sense (contaminated) -- defile (self), pollute (self), be (make, make self, pronounce) unclean, utterly.
two weeks
shabuwa` (shaw-boo'-ah)
literal, sevened, i.e. a week (specifically, of years) -- seven, week.
as in her separation
niddah (nid-daw')
rejection; by implication, impurity, especially personal (menstruation) or moral (idolatry, incest)
and she shall continue
yashab (yaw-shab')
to sit down (specifically as judge. in ambush, in quiet); by implication, to dwell, to remain; causatively, to settle, to marry
in the blood
dam (dawm)
blood (as that which when shed causes death) of man or an animal; by analogy, the juice of the grape; figuratively (especially in the plural) bloodshed (i.e. drops of blood)
of her purifying
tohorah (toh-or-aw')
ceremonial purification; moral purity -- is cleansed, cleansing, purification(-fying).
threescore
shishshiym (shish-sheem')
sixty -- sixty, three score.
and six
shesh (shaysh)
six (as an overplus (see 7797) beyond five or the fingers of the hand); as ord. sixth -- six(-teen, -teenth), sixth.
days
