Shalt thou reign
malak (maw-lak')
to reign; inceptively, to ascend the throne; causatively, to induct into royalty; hence (by implication) to take counsel
because thou closest
tacharah (takh-aw-raw')
to vie with a rival -- close, contend.
thyself in cedar
'erez (eh-rez')
a cedar tree (from the tenacity of its roots) -- cedar (tree).
did not thy father
