dark (as enveloped), i.e. the north; hence (by orientation), the left hand -- left (hand, side).
to the end that he may prolong
'arak  (aw-rak')
to be (causative, make) long -- defer, draw out, lengthen, (be, become, make, pro-)long, + (out-, over-)live, tarry (long).
his days
yowm  (yome)
a day (as the warm hours),
in his kingdom
mamlakah  (mam-law-kaw')
dominion, i.e. (abstractly) the estate (rule) or (concretely) the country (realm) -- kingdom, king's, reign, royal.
he and his children
ben  (bane)
a son (as a builder of the family name), in the widest sense (of literal and figurative relationship, including grandson, subject, nation, quality or condition, etc.
in the midst
qereb  (keh'-reb)
the nearest part, i.e. the center, whether literal, figurative or adverbial (especially with preposition)
of Israel
Yisra'el  (yis-raw-ale')
he will rule as God; Jisrael, a symbolical name of Jacob; also (typically) of his posterity: --Israel.
