And thou shalt speak and say before the LORD thy God A Syrian ready to perish was my father and he went down into Egypt and sojourned there with a few and became there a nation great mighty and populous
And thou shalt speak
`anah  (aw-naw')
to eye or (generally) to heed, i.e. pay attention; by implication, to respond; by extens. to begin to speak; specifically to sing, shout, testify, announce
and say
'amar  (aw-mar')
to say (used with great latitude)
before
paniym  (paw-neem')
the face (as the part that turns); used in a great variety of applications (literally and figuratively); also (with prepositional prefix) as a preposition (before, etc.)
the LORD
Yhovah  (yeh-ho-vaw')
(the) self-Existent or Eternal; Jehovah, Jewish national name of God -- Jehovah, the Lord.
thy God
'elohiym  (el-o-heem')
angels, exceeding, God (gods)(-dess, -ly), (very) great, judges, mighty.

an Aramite or Aramaean -- Syrian, Aramitess.
ready to perish
'abad  (aw-bad')
to wander away, i.e. lose oneself; by implication to perish (causative, destroy)

and he went down
