Surely I will 'im (eem) used very widely as demonstrative, lo!; interrog., whether?; or conditional, if, although; also Oh that!, when; no more give nathan (naw-than') to give, used with greatest latitude of application (put, make, etc.) thy corn dagan (daw-gawn') increase, i.e. grain -- corn (floor), wheat. to be meat ma'akal (mah-ak-awl') an eatable (includ. provender, flesh and fruit) -- food, fruit, (bake-) meat(-s), victual. for thine enemies 'oyeb (o-yabe') hating; an adversary -- enemy, foe. and the sons ben (bane) a son (as a builder of the family name), in the widest sense (of literal and figurative relationship, including grandson, subject, nation, quality or condition, etc. of the stranger nekar (nay-kawr') foreign, or (concretely) a foreigner, or (abstractly) heathendom -- alien, strange (+ -er). shall not drink shathah (shaw-thaw') to imbibe -- assuredly, banquet, certainly, drink(-er, -ing), drunk (-ard), surely. thy wine tiyrowsh (tee-roshe') must or fresh grape-juice (as just squeezed out); by implication (rarely) fermented wine -- (new, sweet) wine. for the which thou hast laboured yaga` (yaw-gah') to gasp; hence, to be exhausted, to tire, to toil -- faint, (make to) labour, (be) weary.
