The simple believeth every word but the prudent man looketh well to his going The simple pthiy (peth-ee') silly (i.e. seducible) -- foolish, simple(-icity, one). believeth 'aman (aw-man') to build up or support; to foster as a parent or nurse; figuratively to render (or be) firm or faithful, to trust or believe, to be permanent or quiet; morally to be true or certain every word dabar (daw-baw') a word; by implication, a matter (as spoken of) or thing; adverbially, a cause but the prudent `aruwm (aw-room') cunning (usually in a bad sense) -- crafty, prudent, subtil. man looketh well biyn (bene) to separate mentally (or distinguish), i.e.(generally) understand to his going 'ashur (aw-shoor') a step -- going, step.
