and shall break

a bone (as strong); by extension, the body; figuratively, the substance, i.e. (as pron.) selfsame -- body, bone, life, (self-)same, strength, very.
and pierce
machats  (maw-khats')
to dash asunder; by implication, to crush, smash or violently plunge; figuratively, to subdue or destroy -- dip, pierce (through), smite (through), strike through, wound.
them through with his arrows
