All thine enemies have opened their mouth against thee they hiss and gnash the teeth they say We have swallowed her up certainly this is the day that we looked for we have found we have seen it All thine enemies 'oyeb (o-yabe') hating; an adversary -- enemy, foe. have opened patsah (paw-tsaw') to rend, i.e. open (especially the mouth) -- deliver, gape, open, rid, utter. their mouth peh (peh) the mouth (as the means of blowing), whether literal or figurative (particularly speech); specifically edge, portion or side; adverbially (with preposition) according to against thee they hiss sharaq (shaw-rak') to be shrill, i.e. to whistle or hiss (as a call or in scorn) -- hiss. and gnash charaq (khaw-rak') to grate the teeth -- gnash. the teeth shen (shane) a tooth (as sharp); specifically ivory; figuratively, a cliff -- crag, forefront, ivory, sharp, tooth. they say 'amar (aw-mar') to say (used with great latitude) We have swallowed her up bala` (baw-lah') to make away with (specifically by swallowing); generally, to destroy -- cover, destroy, devour, eat up, be at end, spend up, swallow down (up). certainly 'ak (ak) a particle of affirmation, surely; hence (by limitation) only this is the day yowm (yome) a day (as the warm hours), that we looked for qavah (kaw-vaw') to bind together (perhaps by twisting), i.e. collect; (figuratively) to expect -- gather (together), look, patiently, tarry, wait (for, on, upon). we have found matsa' (maw-tsaw') to come forth to, i.e. appear or exist; transitively, to attain, i.e. find or acquire; figuratively, to occur, meet or be present we have seen ra'ah (raw-aw') to see, literally or figuratively (in numerous applications, direct and implied, transitive, intransitive and causative)surely, think, view, visions. it
