Thus saith the LORD Behold I will bring again the captivity of Jacob's tents and have mercy on his dwellingplaces and the city shall be builded upon her own heap and the palace shall remain after the manner thereof Thus saith 'amar (aw-mar') to say (used with great latitude) the LORD Yhovah (yeh-ho-vaw') (the) self-Existent or Eternal; Jehovah, Jewish national name of God -- Jehovah, the Lord. Behold I will bring again shuwb (shoob) to turn back (hence, away) transitively or intransitively, literally or figuratively the captivity shbuwth (sheb-ooth') exile, concretely, prisoners; figuratively, a former state of prosperity -- captive(-ity). of Jacob's Ya`aqob (yah-ak-obe') heel-catcher (i.e. supplanter); Jaakob, the Israelitish patriarch -- Jacob. tents 'ohel (o'-hel) a tent (as clearly conspicuous from a distance) -- covering, (dwelling)(place), home, tabernacle, tent. and have mercy racham (raw-kham') to fondle; by implication, to love, especially to compassionate on his dwellingplaces mishkan (mish-kawn') a residence (including a shepherd's hut, the lair of animals, figuratively, the grave; also the Temple); specifically, the Tabernacle (properly, its wooden walls) and the city `iyr (eer) or (in the plural) par {awr}; or ayar (Judges 10:4) {aw-yar'}; a city (a place guarded by waking or a watch) in the widest sense (even of a mere encampment or post) -- Ai (from margin), city, court (from margin), town. shall be builded banah (baw-naw') to build (literally and figuratively) -- (begin to) build(-er), obtain children, make, repair, set (up), surely. upon her own heap tel (tale) a mound -- heap, strength. and the palace 'armown (ar-mone') a citadel (from its height) -- castle, palace. shall remain yashab (yaw-shab') to sit down (specifically as judge. in ambush, in quiet); by implication, to dwell, to remain; causatively, to settle, to marry after the manner mishpat (mish-pawt') a verdict (favorable or unfavorable) pronounced judicially, especially a sentence or formal decree (human or (participant's) divine law, individual or collective thereof
