But let every man prove his own work and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone and not in another

dokimazo  dok-im-ad'-zo:  to test; by implication, to approve -- allow, discern, examine, like, (ap-)prove, try.
εκαστος  adjective - nominative singular masculine
hekastos  hek'-as-tos:  each or every -- any, both, each (one), every (man, one, woman), particularly.
