Thus saith the LORD What iniquity have your fathers found in me that they are gone far from me and have walked after vanity and are become vain
Thus saith

What iniquity
`evel  (eh'-vel)

have your fathers

found

in me that they are gone far
rachaq  (raw-khak')

from me and have walked
yalak  (yaw-lak')

after

hebel  (heh'bel)

and are become vain
habal  (haw-bal')
to be vain in act, word, or expectation; specifically to lead astray -- be (become, make) vain.
