The prince that wanteth understanding is also a great oppressor but he that hateth covetousness shall prolong his days The prince nagiyd (naw-gheed') captain, chief, excellent thing, (chief) governor, leader, noble, prince, (chief) ruler. that wanteth chacer (khaw-sare') lacking; hence, without -- destitute, fail, lack, have need, void, want. understanding tabuwn (taw-boon') intelligence; by implication, an argument; by extension, caprice -- discretion, reason, skilfulness, understanding, wisdom. is also a great rab (rab) abundant (in quantity, size, age, number, rank, quality) oppressor ma`ashaqqah (mah-ash-ak-kaw') oppression -- oppression, oppressor. but he that hateth sane' (saw-nay') to hate (personally) -- enemy, foe, (be) hate(-ful, -r), odious, utterly. covetousness betsa` (beh'-tsah) plunder; by extension, gain (usually unjust) -- covetousness, (dishonest) gain, lucre, profit. shall prolong 'arak (aw-rak') to be (causative, make) long -- defer, draw out, lengthen, (be, become, make, pro-)long, + (out-, over-)live, tarry (long). his days yowm (yome) a day (as the warm hours),
