In the day of my trouble I sought the Lord my sore ran in the night and ceased not my soul refused to be comforted
In the day

tightness (i.e. figuratively, trouble); transitively, a female rival -- adversary, adversity, affliction, anguish, distress, tribulation, trouble.
I sought
darash  (daw-rash')
to tread or frequent; usually to follow (for pursuit or search); by implication, to seek or ask; specifically to worship
the Lord
'Adonay  (ad-o-noy')

my sore

not my soul

a breathing creature, i.e. animal of (abstractly) vitality; used very widely in a literal, accommodated or figurative sense (bodily or mental)
refused
ma'en  (maw-ane')
to refuse -- refuse, utterly.
to be comforted
nacham  (naw-kham')
comfort (self), ease (one's self), repent(-er,-ing, self).
